Women's Group Demands Thorough Probe Into Sunanda's Death

by Wochit 0:39 mins

A women's group demanded a thorough investigation Monday into the mysterious death of Sunanda Pushkar, the wife of union minister Shashi Tharoor. The All India Democratic Women's Association expressed concern at the "arbitrary and non-serious way" the probe into Pushkar's death is being carried out. The case has been transferred back to the south district police from the Crime Branch with no justification, which, said the Association, only "raised suspicion" that there will be no external investigation.
