When it comes to the Emmys, "fun" is probably not the first word that comes to mind. Nonetheless, says Seth Meyers — who will host NBC's Aug. 25 broadcast of TV's big awards — "fun" is his mantra. "Just be upbeat and have fun. … We don't want it to feel morbid, we want it to feel like a celebration of a year in TV." Lately on awards shows, the tone of that celebration has seemed to be mean, but Meyers says that isn't his style.
