A new study published in the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry - a journal of the BMJ - suggests that individuals infected with HIV may be at much lower risk of developing multiple sclerosis.The research team says if their findings are confirmed, this could hold important implications for the treatment of multiple sclerosis--or MS--a disabling disease of the central nervous system.
