United Nations human rights monitors say at least 1,075 people have been killed in Iraq during June, most of them civilians. The U.N. human rights team in Iraq says at least 757 civilians were killed and 599 injured in Nineveh, Diyala and Salah al-Din provinces from June 5th through the 22nd. Spokesman Rupert Colville told reporters Tuesday in Geneva, the figure "should be viewed very much as a minimum," and includes some verified summary executions and extra-judicial killings of civilians, police, and soldiers who had stopped fighting. UN Secretary Ban-Ki Moon said in GenevaTuesday that there is a high risk of Iraq's instability spreading into neighboring countries in the Middle East:
Two people familiar with the matter told Reuters on Thursday that U.S health insurer Aetna Inc is nearing an agreement to buy rival Humana Inc in a cash and stock deal. One source said Aetna's offer would value Humana at about $230 per share and could be announced as early as Friday. Earlier, Bloomberg reported the expected deal was valued at about $34 billion, citing unnamed sources.
At Image Expo today, Saga writer Brian K. Vaughan announced that he and artist Marco Martin’s hit digital comics series The Private Eye will be coming to print for the first time at Image Comics. The deal was said to have come after much prodding from The Walking Dead comic book writer Robert Kirkman. In return, Vaughan and Martin had the honor of creating a The Walking Dead story. The story will be distributed through Vaughan and Martin’s digital comics website Panel Syndicate. Until now, Panel Syndicate has operated on a “pay-what-you-want” model, but there was no confirmation of that model applying also to the upcoming The Walking Dead story.

Lamar shot back, "Hip-hop is not the problem.
