"Transformers: Age of Extinction" extinguished its competition last weekend. The fourth installment in Michael Bay's robot series earned $100 million in North America, making it the yearâ¿¿s biggest movie debut. Meanwhile, June auto sales arrived this week and there was some good news for the Big 3 heading into the summer driving season. Chrysler saw its U.S. sales jump 9.2% last month, beating expectations for a 5.9% gain, while Ford and GM also beat Wall Street estimates. Finally, the US may have lost to Belgium on Tuesday in the World Cup, but our players gained over 3 million Twitter followers over the course of the tournament. Twitter has been a bigger winner as well, its shares are up nearly 20% since the start of the World Cup.
