The Malaysia Airlines crisis escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine and continued conflict in Israel and Gaza will dominate headlines in the Week Ahead. Additionally, 28% of the S&P 500 report quarterly earnings. Key earnings include Apple, Microsoft, Netflix, Starbucks, Verizon, Comcast and a number of defense and industrial names. Peter Costa, President of Empire Executions, believes the market could see some volatility in the week ahead due to the heavy earnings calendar, lending to more trading action, particularly if M&A activity remains strong. TheStreet’s Jill Malandrino reports from the Floor of the NYSE.
