The Big Mac is coming back to China. McDonald's locations in the country will have their full menus restored gradually by cities starting this week. McDonald's halted purchases in China from Shanghai Husi, a unit of U.S.-based OSI Group, about two weeks ago upon discovering a food safety scandal. In a statement, McDonald's China said they are "taking the time and strict scrutiny" to ensure that suppliers meet the China food safety regulations and McDonald's standards. The scandal and supply issues have prompted Bank of America Merrill Lynch analyst Joseph Buckley to lower his 2014 earnings estimate for McDonald's by 10 cents a share. TheStreet's Brittany Umar has details.
