Sales growth for the three-month period ending May was flat for Android but reached 3.5 percent for iOS, says Kantar Worldpanel ComTech. Apple is said to be preparing a lower cost iPhone for later this year, with a plastic shell instead of its typical recipe of metal and glass to lower component costs, and now a site called Techdy that creates Android knock-off handsets of higher-end devices is claiming to have obtained the new phone's plastic casing and front screen assembly. According to a study, the iPhone 5 received nearly twice the rate of negative comments at launch compared with the Galaxy S4, but Apple clearly wins in perhaps the most important metric of all - The iPhone 5 received more than 10 times the amount of launch day chatter overall than the Galaxy S4
