AT&T will be the exclusive carrier for Amazon's new smartphone, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal. The arrangement could give AT&T a leg up in the competitive smartphone market, similar to the exclusive deal it had with Apple when the iPhone was released in 2007. BGR reports that a big potential selling point of the phone could be a unique wireless data plan that will be offered alongside the device called "Prime Data." Amazon is expected to introduce the phone at a product event on Wednesday in Seattle. It already released a video on YouTube teasing the device, which is expected to be capable of displaying images that appear three-dimensional.
