A great white shark began acting strangely off the Western Australian coast on July 12, repeatedly swimming into shallow water on Coronation Beach. When the shark washed ashore two days later, a large Australian sea lion was found lodged in its throat. Brad Tapper caught the shark’s bizarre behaviour on camera. According to the Western Australian Department of Fisheries, “it is possible that the shark was trying to dislodge the blockage.” Credit: YouTube/Brad Tapper
