Irish Police have been accused of using heavy handed tactics at a peaceful rally in Dublin on July 19. Thousands of people protested in the city against Israel’s bombardment of Gaza. However, when a small group of protesters continued on to the US Embassy in Dublin, police (known as Gardai) dragged one man across a footpath. They attempted to handcuff him but the young man appeared to have an epileptic fit.His friends were eventually allowed to administer aid to him. The man has accused Gardai of being heavy handed and is reported to be making a complaint to the police ombudsman. Credit: YouTube/Adele J King
