Irish Police have been accused of using heavy handed tactics at a peaceful rally in Dublin on July 19. Thousands of people protested in the city against Israel’s bombardment of Gaza. However, when a small group of protesters continued on to the US Embassy in Dublin, police (known as Gardai) dragged one man across a footpath. They attempted to handcuff him but the young man appeared to have an epileptic fit.His friends were eventually allowed to administer aid to him.
