The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the militant wing of the Islamist political party Hamas, released a video on August 25 showing what they claim is an Israeli “reconissance” drone aircraft they shot down in the east Shajaiya district of the Gaza Strip. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) denied that one of their craft was captured, according to the BBC’s Michael Shuval, saying they were “unfamiliar with such reports”. Credit: Al Qassam Brigades
