Julieanna Hever, author of the "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Plant-Based Nutrition" (http://www.plantbaseddietitian.com), shows host Judy Greer how to make her own cleaning supplies. The inside of your home is 70 percent more chemically contaminated than the outside, Hever warns. So cutting down on harsh store-bought products is beneficial to your family's health. Here’s her recipe for her all-purpose cleaner scrub: - 2 cups hot water – 2 tsp borax (a natural mineral) – 2 tsp white vinegar – 2 tsp white vinegar – 5-6 drops essential oil. Mix together in a spray bottle and use for all household jobs. For a natural air freshener, fill a spray bottle full of water, with 6-7 drops of essential oil.
