Apple Incorporated's suppliers are gearing up for mass production of a new iPad mini in the fourth quarter that will likely feature a high-resolution screen from Samsung, people familiar with the matter say, an indication of the difficulty the U.S. company faces in its attempt to reduce its dependence on its biggest rival.
Samsung is working on what appears to be a hybrid between a flip phone and smartphone. Japanese tech site RBMen discovered a manual on Samsung's Web site showcasing a device it's calling the Galaxy Folder. The device looks like a standard flip phone from the front, but actually comes with a dual-sided touchscreen, allowing for control on both sides of the handset.
