A Mumbai sessions court on Monday adjourned its verdict on the 2002 Salman Khan hit-and-run case till June 24, due to the absence of court staff. The court was to deliver its verdict on Monday on Salman Khan's appeal against a magistrate's order for his retrial in the case under stringent charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder. On May 8, Sessions court judge UB Hejib had fixed June 10, 2013, for deciding the appeal after arguments concluded a month ago. Salman's Toyota Land Cruiser car had killed a sleeping pavement dweller and injured four others in suburban Bandra on September 28, 2002.
