The average U.S. rate on a 30-year fixed mortgage rose this week to 4.51 percent, a two-year high. Rates have been rising on expectations that the Federal Reserve will slow its bond purchases this year. No crashing here! Funnyman Vince Vaughn is making good on his investment and leasing out his Chitown apartment for a steep $9,500 a month. Vaughn plunked down $1.425 million on the townhouse ? but hasn't lived in the apartment since 2006. Fewer U.S. foreclosures were completed in May compared with a year ago, while the number of houses in the foreclosure process also declined as the market continued to heal, data analysis firm CoreLogic said.
