Director: Scott Scovill

Nothing says summer like a day with a water-skiing squirrel. Wait, what? The latest Brad Paisley music video, "River Bank," is a whole lot of silly fun. Inner tubes, a rope swing, and bikini-clad women are all featured, but it’s a water-loving gray squirrel that steals the show. The talented animal — wearing a miniature life vest — rides the river on a pint-sized water-ski platform hitched to a tiny motorboat. It's a goofy — and adorable — twist to the country singer's ode to the season. "We got an inner tube/We got a trailer hitch/We’re near the river and far from rich," Paisley sings, guitar in hand, knee-deep in the water. "But we have got each other and gas in the tank/We’re laughing all the way to the river bank." Over Memorial Day weekend, the 41-year-old had a more serious mission: He traveled to Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan to entertain the troops. Whether he's celebrating summer or thanking the military, the country star always has a song going on. — Claudine Zap (@zapkidd)
