A dramatic video has emerged of a hot air balloon catching fire at an event in France. The footage, captured at the 40th French Championship of Air Balloons, in Sablé-sur-Sarthe on Saturday shows one of the air balloons catching fire shortly after taking off. According to local reports, the fire started when the basket hit a lamppost and the resulting impact knocked the flame into the balloon. The director of the event reported that, miraculously, nobody was seriously injured in the accident.

An amusing video has emerged of a man dressed as batman filling up his batmobile at a petrol station in Maryland, USA last week. The footage, captured by a professional filmmaker during a road-trip, shows the man stopping off at a service station to fill up his replica of the iconic 1960s batmobile - in full costume. Writing online about the encounter, the filmer said: "My wife and I were driving from Florida to New York to go to a conference. Tired & road weary, we pulled into a gas station in who knows where to reenergize. Little did we know, BATMAN was there in full regalia filling up and working on the Batmobile! The funny part that we thought was the absolute commonplace way he was going about his business - no fanfare, no grand gestures. It was simply a hero going about his business of keeping his machine in working condition. The randomness of the situation and the slap-happy state we were in made it all so much funnier to us!" ++CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: CONTAINS COPYRIGHT PROTECTED MUSIC: Batman theme song++ Commercial music and or performances must be cleared according to your own local music performance and copyright agreements with your applicable collecting society. An interesting video titled "Manipulated" has emerged of a stop motion self portrait video designed to give the illusion of a body being moulded like clay. Art student Kelsey Higley, who studies at The University of Oklahoma, US, combined around 126 digitally reconstructed photos of herself in an attempt to explore the notion of ‘true beauty’. Higley explained: “This looped animation illustrates the effects media and public opinions have on the way we look at ourselves. I have chosen to use myself in this short to show my own inner conflict with beauty as I battle with the desire to look like someone else and the acceptance of my natural beauty.” The video has been viewed more than a million times online since being uploaded late last year.
