More than 50 cases of the Zika virus detected in the United States

On February 12, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases at the National Institute of Health, along with representatives from the World Health Organization held a news conference on the Zika virus. Dr. Fauci said there have been over 50 cases of the virus detected in the United States, and emphasized that pregnant women should postpone travel to affected areas.
