Trump says U.S. should ‘cancel order’ with Boeing on Air Force One deal

President-elect Donald Trump called for the U.S. to “cancel order” for a new Air Force One plane, citing it would cost “more than $4 billion.” Current Air Force Ones, made by Boeing, have been in use since the Reagan administration. Aviation experts say it’s becoming harder and more expensive to keep the aircraft flying. Boeing released a statement Tuesday afternoon saying, "We are currently under contract for $170 million to help determine the capabilities of these complex military aircraft that serve the unique requirements of the President of the United States."
