Time-Lapse of Snowstorm's NYC Approach

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced a state of emergency on Monday, January 26, ahead of a predicted blizzard that was expected to bring two feet of snow to the city. Approximately 1,800 snowplows and 2,600 personnel were deployed to keep roads clear throughout the city’s five boroughs.
