Survivors Say Islamic State Killed Hundreds of Prisoners

Survivors told Human Rights Watch that the Sunni extremist group Islamic State executed as many as 600 male inmates after they seized Badoush prison near Mosul, Iraq, on June 10. According to these accounts of the events, the militants separated the Shia from the Sunni inmates before killing the group of Shias as well as some Kurds and Yezidi.
