Snowboarder Makes a Jump From Piles of Snow

A snowboarder made the most of the piles of snow dumped on Lancaster in Eerie County, New York, on Friday, November 21.

Governor Andrew Cuomo sent 375 National Guard members, 425 pumps and generators, 55 boats, three helicopters, 29 high-axle vehicles for water rescue, and 180,000 sand bags to Buffalo, New York, to help with the aftermath of the snow storm that pummeled the city and surrounding areas in Eerie County beginning November 17.

On Friday, Cuomo urged residents to prepare for the risk of flooding as warmer temperatures were expected over the weekend. Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown said state workers and the National Guard have removed over 35,000 tons of snow out of south Buffalo. Credit: Facebook/Lauren Gundlach‎
