Opposition Leader Joins March Against Venezuelan President

Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Caracas on January 24, calling for President Nicolas Maduro to step down. Many banged empty pots, a symbol of food shortages. Minor scuffles were reported as police dispersed the marches. Footage shows demonstrators and a confrontation with police. Opposition leader Henrique Capriles, seen here marching with the protesters, called for the opposition to unite in a “common agenda” against Maduro. Credit: YouTube/@MikeCarbonell
