NYC Joins FBI to Investigate Hatchet Attack

Mayor Bill de Blasio and New York Police Commissioner Bratton briefed the press on Friday, October 24 the hatchet attack on New York Police officers the previous day,

“It’s been a tough 24 hours in New York City, a lot’s been thrown at as, a lot’s been thrown at the NYPD”, De Blasio said.

“In the last 24 hours, the department has mounted a very significant joint investigation by our detective bureau, counter-terrorism and intelligence bureaus and the joint terrorism task force”, Bratton said.
