Nor'easter Blankets Montreal With Snow

A nor’easter struck the Canadian city of Montreal, Quebec on Wednesday, December 10, bringing snow, ice pellets and winds gusting up to almost 43 miles per hour (70 kilometers per hour) at times, according to a news report. Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for areas including Montreal, Quebec City and the Laurentians and warned of a long period of snowfall with total amounts of 8 to 12 inches (20 to 30 cm).
