National Guard Deploys More Guardsmen to Ferguson

The National Guard was out in force in Ferguson, Missouri, on November 25. Missouri Governor Jay Nixon promised more than 2,000 national guardsmen would be deployed to the city, according to the St. Louis Dispatch. This video shows the National Guard standing outside the Ferguson Police Department.

The troop deployment comes the day after riots broke out in Ferguson after s grand jury’s decision to not indict Officer Darren Wilson. Wilson shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown in August.
