Michael Brown Sr. Says He Wants His Son's Death to Lead to Change

Michael Brown, Sr. asked people in the St. Louis area, including Ferguson, to work together for change and not resort to violence. STL Forward posted a video on November 20 from Michael Brown’s father as the region prepares for the grand jury decision on if Officer Darren Wilson should be charged in Brown’s shooting death.

The older Brown said in the video that hurting others and destroying property is not the answer. “No matter the grand jury’s decision, I don’t want my son’s death to be in vain.” Instead he wants his son’s death to lead to change, “change that makes the St. Louis region better for everyone.” Credit: YouTube/STL Forward
