Mark Duggan Remembered During Ferguson Protest in London

Protesters gathered in London on November 26, two days after a St. Louis grand jury decided not to indict a police officer over the fatal shooting of Ferguson, Missouri, teenager Michael Brown. Demonstrators marched through central London, stopping at the US Embassy, Oxford Street, and Piccadilly Circus.

Demonstrators stopped outside Charing Cross police station and chanted “Police killed Mark Duggan.” Duggan, a black male, was 29-years-old when he was shot dead by police in London. His shooting in 2011 led to the biggest riots seen in England for decades. Credit: Facebook/Zena Edwards
