Koko the Signing Gorilla Mourns Robin Williams

Comedian and actor Robin Williams had a host of fans, including one famous ape, who mourned his death. Koko, a gorilla famous for learning sign language, was sadden on overhearing of Williams’ death, according to her keepers. Williams struck up a friendship after visiting Koko at her home in northern California in 2001. Williams was found dead in his home in Tiburon, California, on August 11,
