Guinean Ebola Survivor Welcomed Home to His Village

A Red Cross volunteer in Guinea who contracted Ebola while working with the charity survived the virus and was reunited with his family in October. Mamadou Noumou Diallo was treated at a Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) centre, where he lapsed into a coma. According to the International Federation of the Red Cross, Diallo’s family were shunned due to his illness. This video shows Diallo returning to his village. Credit: YouTube/IFRC
