Blast Damages Separatist-Held Luhansk Regional Administration Building

An explosion occurred in the separatist-held Luhansk Regional Administration building in eastern Ukraine on June 2. The blast tore a hole in the wall of the building, which is under the control of the self-proclaimed ‘Luhansk People’s Republic.’

According to local media reports, the explosion occurred inside the building and was not the result of military shelling.

“The most likely cause of the explosion was careless and inept handling of small arms and explosives,” the press officer of Ukraine’s counter-terrorist operation said. Credit: YouTube/Radio Svoboda Organization
