Yorkshire First Renews Calls for New Parliament

Yorkshire First, a regional party calling for the establishment of a parliament in Yorkshire, released its first campaign videos on Wednesday, April 1. In this video, York Central candidate Chris Whitwood set out the party’s vision in rhyme. “It’s time they realised that Yorkshire and Scotland have the same population, so if we went it alone we’d do pretty well as a nation. But we don’t want independence, we just want better representation.”
