Two Suspects Flee Texas Police on Horseback

Two suspects decided to horse around with police in Texas.

Police in Mesquite, Texas, said they responded to a fight at the rodeo on October 4 when two of the three suspects fled on horseback. An officer then spotted the two on horseback on a nearby street, and one stopped when police ordered him to do so. The other suspect rode off, police said.

The suspect who fled was later found walking down a residential street. Police said he resisted arrest and was tased by officers. The horse was found in a backyard.

Marcario Andrade, 31, was arrested at the scene of the fight at the rodeo and was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public intoxication. Police said Aaron Ibarra, 27, fled on horseback and stopped when instructed. He was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Police said Francisco Torres, 33, was the suspect who fled on horseback and did not stop. He was charged with public intoxication, evading arrest, disorderly conduct and failure to identify.
