Turtle With a GoPro Swims Through Great Barrier Reef

UNESCO World Heritage Committee has decide it won’t declare Australia’s Great Barrier Reef “in danger,” although the reef will remain on UNESCO’s watch list for another four years. Environmental groups have campaigned for the government to protect the reef and for UNESCO to rule the reef as “in-danger”, claiming industrial activity in the area threatens the reef’s unique ecosystem.

Politicians argued against the designation, saying it would negatively affect Australia’s economy.
