Texas' Blanco River Hits Record Water Levels Amid Severe Storms

The Blanco River in Texas reached record highs on Saturday as heavy rain triggered flash flooding. Local station KUVE reported the water level reached 40 feet, the highest level since 1929. A state of emergency was reported in Caldwell County, which is bordered by the river to the west, and the I-35 at San Marcos in Hays County was closed due to flooding during the night.
