Protesters Chant for Handcuffs on Baltimore Police Commissioner

Hundreds of protesters marched through Baltimore on Saturday, April 25, after a local man died in police custody. Freddie Gray was arrested on April 12 and suffered a spinal cord injury. He died a week later, and protests in Baltimore have occurred every day since, as people look for answers how, and why.

Police also are investigating circumstances around the arrest. Authorities released surveillance video from the time of Gray’s arrest from city cameras in the area.

In this footage, the uploader stated that the crowd was chanting “put the handcuffs on him” to the police commissioner. She also reported people were blowing whistles to “blow the whistle on police corruption.” Credit: Twitter/Taylor Griffin
