Nor'easter Triggers Tidal Flooding Down the Jersey Shore

A nor’easter triggered more tidal flooding along the New Jersey Shore on Tuesday, January 24, and left beach erosion in its wake. The water from the tidal flooding on Tuesday never completely drained from Long Beach Island, according to a report.

The high winds associated with the storm, which pounded the East Coast from New Jersey to Maine, churned the surf while knocking down power lines and trees.
