Minister Steinitz Booed at Tel Aviv Rally Against Hate Crimes

Israeli energy minister and right-wing hardliner Yuval Steinitz was booed as he addressed a rally in Tel Aviv on Saturday, August 1. Thousands joined rallies across Israel to protest against hate crimes and violence. The rallies came on the heels of a stabbing assault on six people at a Gay Pride march in Jerusalem and an arson attack in the West Bank that killed an 18-month-old Palestinian baby.
