Italian Coast Guard Rescues 88 Migrants in the Mediterranean Sea

The Italian Coast Guard rescued 88 migrants from a raft in the Mediterranean during the weekend of May 2. According to local reports, 5,800 migrants have been rescued within the first week of May, with 10 bodies recovered from the sea, the Coast Guard (Guardia Costiera) said.
