Homes Devastated as Deadly Tornado Hits Georgia's Cook County

At least eight people were killed when a tornado ripped through the town of Adel in Cook County, Georgia, early on Sunday, January 22, damaging homes and uprooting trees, according to reports.

Four other people were reportedly killed and 23 injured in weather-related incidents across southern Georgia the morning of January 22.

The storms came one day after a tornado killed at least four people in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
