Flags Raised at National Sorry Day Ceremony in Wagga Wagga

Flag were raised at a ceremony to mark National Sorry Day in Wagga Wagga on Tuesday morning, May 26. The ceremony was part of an annual, nation-wide day of observance to acknowledge the Stolen Generations, the children of Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders removed from their families by the government agencies and church missions between the early 1900s into the 1970s.
