U.S. stocks are now positive after a lower open. Energy companies are fueling the markets higher. Peabody Energy (BTU) and Arch Coal (ACI)are both up. Alpha Natural Resources (ANR) is doing the best out of the bunch after beating earnings expectations. Twenty-First Century Fox (FOXA) investors are praising the decision to drop its bid for Time Warner (TWX). Time Warner shares are down significantly after reporting revenue fell short of expectations. Another failed deal has both shares both Sprint (S) and T-Mobile (TMUS) down. Sprint is no longer pursuing T-Mobile because of regulatory difficulties. Groupon (GRPN) is dropping after disappointing earnings results and forecasts. After the close, earnings reports are due for Transocean (RIG), Twenty-First Century Fox and Zulily (ZU).
