Jim Cramer: GM Is Putting Safety Issues Behind it, Now an Earnings Story

by TheStreet 0:57 mins

TheStreet's Jim says General Motors (GM) has been a major position for ActionAlertsPlus.com for some time. The market is hearing new CEO Mary Barra take responsibility for the company's recent safety recalls. Cramer says Barra is doing a terrific job, but most importantly, GM is working to put the tragic issue behind it and the people who were involved are being released. Cramer thinks GM will be an earnings story going forward and investors should watch China auto sales, which had good numbers, as well as Europe and the United States. If shares of GM move lower Thursday after their run-up Wednesday, Cramer says it's a chance to buy more.
