Like Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Watson before her, Kristen Stewart is a shear beauty! The 24-year-old Clouds of Sils Maria actress lopped off her locks and debuted her much shorter hairstyle Tuesday during Paris Fashion Week at Chanel's Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2014-2015 runway show. Stewart is apparently growing out her roots after dyeing her hair orange for the movie American Ultra. No word yet what inspired Stewart's shorn style—but the cut certainly flatters her face!
Jennifer Lawrence deep understanding with director David O. Russell made the films they worked together very successful. Romantic drama-comedy Silver Linings Playbook and darkly comic crime film American Hustler collectively earned 18 Academy Award nominations, including a Best Actress Oscar win for Lawrence after their first collaboration. And now the two are collaborating again for a new movie called ‘Joy’ based on real-life entrepreneur Joy Mangano. Lawrence described the film as celebrating “women who are the unsung heroes of their households.” She was also her usual straightforward self when she told Russell exactly how she felt about working with him again. “I’ll do anything with you until you die. It’s sweet and f—ed up.” The director also responded with praise of his own for Lawrence and said that she’s the same person, this girl from Kentucky who is becoming a woman and he had the privilege of watching that. That’s also the story of this movie (Joy). It’s a lot for a 25-year-old. But it’s happening. Jennifer is really finding her own voice.” Joy opens in U.S. theaters on December 25th, 2015.
Recently, the Oscar winner spoke about her plans to direct. Amid news that she’s signed on to helm a feature called Project Delirium, Lawrence told Entertainment Weekly, “I have wanted to direct as long as I’ve wanted to act. I just don’t talk about it because I’d rather just do it.”She continued, “I’ve wanted to direct since I was 16 and always thought I should start making steps towards that. If I had tried to do it earlier, I wouldn’t have been ready. Now I actually feel ready.”
Did someone just rain on Amy Schumer's Thanksgiving parade? The Trainwreck star appeared to have the ultimate holiday when she spent this week by the beach with Jennifer Lawrence and Aziz Ansari. You know, just a casual, typical Thursday. But once she returned home to spend some quality time with her best girlfriends, things took a turn when one BFF had an announcement: Yes, someone just got engaged during the holidays.
X-Men star James McAvoy was a guest on The Graham Norton Show this evening. He was asked about Professor Charles Xavier losing his hair in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse. McAvoy said professor x suffers so much that he ends up pulling half of his hair out, while the other half falls out before adding 'maybe or maybe not'. X-Men: Apocalypse is being directed by Bryan Singer , based on a script written by Simon Kinber. The cast includes Jennifer Lawrence, Olivia Munn and Rose Byrne. The show hits theaters May 27, 2016.
