US Secretary of state, John F. Kerry currently on an official visit to India said that the United States of America relies on India's 'central role' in Afghanistan's 2014 elections for warding off disputes in the war-torn nation. While delivering key note address at a seminar on US-India Strategic Partnership, in New Delhi on Sunday (June 23) Kerry said that India had undertaken a 'leadership role' in supporting Afghanistan. Commenting on the ensuing Afghan polls, Kerry urged India to play a crucial role in ensuring good governance and peace in the country.
