Harley-Davidson will unveil its first electric motorcycle next week, and President Matt Levatich said he expects the company known for its big touring bikes and iconic brand, to become a leader in developing technology and standards for electric vehicles. Harley will show handmade demonstration models Monday at an invitation-only event in New York. The company will then take several dozen riders on a 30-city tour to test drive the bikes and provide feedback. Harley will use the information it gathers to refine the bike, which might not hit the market for several more years.

John Cleese has finally paid off his ex-wife. The 76-year-old comedian has been paying his third spouse for the last seven years since they divorced in 2008. Alyce Faye Eichelberger, an American psychotherapist, had been married to Cleese for 16 years. She was awarded a total of £12m in finance and assets at a rate of £600k-a-year. The creative genius got his theatrical start in college while attending Cambridge. As a member of the Cambridge Footlights Revue, Cleese performed a sketch known as Cloak and Dagger for the 1963 performance, "A Clump of Plinths." The show was latter changed to the Cambridge Circus. Cleese has since remarried to Jennifer Wade, despite her being 28 years his junior. She also encourages him to stay on top of modern culture.
Police exchanged shots on Friday with a gunman who stormed a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs. Police and hospital officials said the man opened fire with a rifle in a burst of violence that left at least nine people injured. According to Reuters, as of late in the afternoon--some four hours after the siege began--a police spokeswoman said police officers and the suspect remained in a standoff inside the building as authorities scrambled to evacuate staff and patients who had been trapped inside. Progress in securing the building was slowed by the fact that the gunman brought some bags with him into the clinic and left several items outside. Spokeswoman Lieutenant Catherine Buckley said all of the items needed to be checked for possible boobytraps or explosives.
X-Men star James McAvoy was a guest on The Graham Norton Show this evening. He was asked about Professor Charles Xavier losing his hair in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse. McAvoy said professor x suffers so much that he ends up pulling half of his hair out, while the other half falls out before adding 'maybe or maybe not'. X-Men: Apocalypse is being directed by Bryan Singer , based on a script written by Simon Kinber. The cast includes Jennifer Lawrence, Olivia Munn and Rose Byrne.The show hits theaters May 27, 2016.
A gunman opened fire at a Colorado Planned Parenthood clinic on Friday, wounding multiple people and engaging in gun battles with police as patients and staff members ducked behind tables to hide and dodge the crossfire.
