The Massachusetts State Police Air Wing spotted a shark swimming near the Duxbury coast, while beach goers swam on nearby Duxbury Beach. According to police, a Great White shark was seen 75 to 100 yards from the shore, leading to a precautionary evacuation of the beach which remained closed for an hour.According to the Massachusetts State Police, "As more boats approached the area the shark was spotted in, the shark continued swimming Southeast into deeper water. A member of the Massachusetts Marine Fisheries confirmed the shark to be a Great White Shark, “approximately 12-14 feet in length.” Credit: YouTube/MAStatePolice
