Hey, kids (and kids at heart): If you're wondering what to be this Halloween, take some tips from Adam Sandler. The "SNL" cast member had some ideas in a segment from October 1999. For a low-cost costume, he suggests, "use your face." The comedian demonstrates one look, "crazy big-eyed man," which involves the actor pulling his eyes wide open with his fingers. "Hey, look at me," says Sandler. "I'm crazy big-eyed man. I want some candy." If that's not your cup of tea, then maybe you'd prefer a teabag for a costume. Sandler uses the string of the bag like dental floss and wedges it between his front teeth so the bag dangles over his lips. "I'm crazy teabag mouth." He adds, "How about just giving me some candy, or at least some hot water to dip into." Sandler suggests using other props that could be found around the house. "Go as crazy pickle mustache," he says, holding a pickle under his nose. Or go as "crazy pickle arm," he adds, hiding his arm inside his shirt while holding the pickle so it sticks out of the sleeve. "Can you believe such a sight?" asks Sandler, who adds that candy needs to go "in the good hand." The goofball also holds a tether ball to his head and expertly swings it around his face. "That's always my favorite," he says. "Give me some of the candy or you might accidentally get hit with a tether ball." It's hard to argue with that.
