Former Pakistan captain and pace legend Wasim Akram has requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to allow the Pakistani players to take part in the lucrative Indian Premier League (IPL). Stating that Pakistani players will help add more talent to the cash-rich Twenty20 tournament, the 'Sultan of swing' said that if Pakistani players are allowed to take part in the tournament then it will help raise the bar of the event.
